Report 2.9: English Language Acquisition Status – Census Comparison (Fall 1)

Description: Reports an unduplicated count of enrolled students at the school level for the previous academic year Student English Language Acquisition (SELA) status count and the selected academic year SELA count based on Fall 1. The intent of this report is to show an increase or decrease in the count of ELs from year to year, so the students displayed in in this report are students in the SELA count for the current year and are not necessarily the same students in the prior year SELA count.

Security Roles: Fall 1 Reports

Data As Of:

  • Snapshot version only, Fall 1 Census Day (First Wednesday in October)

Basic Select Criteria

  • Open enrollment (SENR) record within LEA as of Fall 1 Census Day (First Wednesday in October).
  • Enrollment Status of 10 (Primary)
  • Grade Level Code equals TK, KN -12
  • Student English Language Acquisition status = EL, IFEP, RFEP, or TBD
  • Student English Language Acquisition Status Start Date less than or equal to Census Date.

Report Filters: Filters can be selected resulting in only totals for the selected filter being displayed – legend on bottom of last page of report states which filter/s were selected
