C/A 7.11: Incident Result - Count

Description: Reports an unduplicated count of students and Students with Disabilities by Incident Result type, total of count of each incident result, and the number of incident results that were modified all by School of Attendance.

Data As Of: - Snapshot version, any time in the reported academic year (7/1 – 6/30)

Security Role(s) Required: County (For COEs); Authorizing LEA Reports (For all other LEAs)

Basic Selection Criteria

  • Open enrollment at any time during the Report Period (7/1 – 6/30)
  • Enrollment Status Code = Primary Enrollment (10), Secondary Enrollment (20), Short Term Enrollment (30)
  • Default Grade Level = TK, KN, 01 – 12
  • Student Incident Record (Record Type = SINC) for the Academic Year being reported
  • Student Data Rules, if applicable to report:
  • Student Incident Result (Record Type = SIRS) data used for Incident Result information are associated with the same Incident ID local, School of Attendance, and SSID
  • Student Offense (Record Type = SOFF) data used for Incident Offense information are associated with the same Incident ID local, School of Attendance, and SSID
  • Student Enrollment (SENR) data reported or used for selecting student subgroups (e.g., Enrollment Status and Grade Level) are associated with the most recent qualifying enrollment at the school during the Report Period, regardless of when the incident occurred
  • Student Information (SINF) data reported or used for selecting student subgroups (e.g., Ethnicity/Race) are selected from the most recent SINF record with Effective Start Date and Effective End Date (if exists) that overlap the most recent qualifying enrollment at the school during the Report Period, regardless of when the incident occurred
  • Student Program (SPRG) data used for student groups are selected from the most recent SPRG record for the school of attendance in the associated SINC record with Education Program Membership Start Date and Education Program Membership End Date (if exists) that overlap with the Incident Occurrence Date.
  • Special Education Status (SWDS) data used for selecting Students with Disabilities are selected from the Eligible and Participating SWDS record [Special Education Status Code = 1 (Eligible and Participating)] effective during:
  • The qualifying enrollment in the SINC record
  • The Incident Occurrence Date

Column Rules
1 LEA code is derived from user ID permission and Expected Schools table
2 LEA Name is determined by #1 and the Expected Schools Table
3 School code is derived from user ID permission and Expected Schools table
4 School Name is determined by #1 and the Expected Schools Table.
5 Incident Result (SIRS Field 19.14-Incident Result Code)
6 Total Students (Unduplicated by Result) – Unduplicated count of SSIDs within each disaggregated category
7 Total Students with Disabilities – Unduplicated count of SSIDs within each disaggregated category where student is a Student with Disability on Incident Occurrence Date (See CALPADS Glossary, Students with Disabilities)
8 Total Count of Incident Results - Duplicated Count of SSIDs within each disaggregated category
Note – If the student has the same incident result in two different incidents, the student is counted twice.
9 # of Incident Results with Modification – Duplicated Count of SSIDs within each disaggregated category where SIRS Field 19.17 - Modification Category = 100 (enforcement suspended) or 200 (Shortened)
