Understanding the Error:
The Staff Employment Status Category (DE 7.27) is missing for a staff who is considered a teacher (Education Service Job Classification = 13 (Teacher, Instructional Assignments) or 14 (Teacher, Non-Instructional Assignments))
Things to check in the submission: Compare the record in the submission to the records that already exist for the staff in CALPADS to verify the staff employment status is populated who a teacher.

If you intended to make a change to an existing record, then submit the information as a change.
