County Office of Education School (COE School)

A school (charter or non-charter) that is authorized and administered by a County Office of Education (COE) to provide alternative instruction to students. COE schools will have an Educational Options Type of county community, opportunity, special education, or juvenile court. Regular charter schools that are authorized by the COE but do not run county programs are NOT considered COE schools for purposes of LCFF funding.
